Eligibility & Admission Requirements

As the first official, specialized, and free educational institution for Afghan girls, the Afghanistan Girls Online International School is committed to providing equal and transparent learning opportunities.
To ensure quality education and proper academic readiness, a set of basic eligibility criteria has been established.

All students—regardless of location, ethnicity, language, or prior academic background—are welcome to apply, provided they meet the outlined requirements.
These standards are not meant to exclude, but to guarantee that every learner joins the system with the preparedness and commitment needed to succeed.

Age Requirement and Student Readiness

To ensure academic success and alignment with the curriculum of each grade level, students must meet a minimum age requirement and demonstrate mental readiness.
The minimum age for enrollment in Grade 1 is 6 years. For higher grades, the student must possess the appropriate age and cognitive development level for that grade.

If a student is older but lacks foundational knowledge, they will have the opportunity to take a placement test to determine the most suitable academic level for enrollment.

Accurate Completion of the Online Registration Form

All applicants must complete the online registration form accurately and thoroughly with correct and up-to-date information. This form includes personal details, academic history, contact number, geographical location, intended grade, and other essential data.

The information provided in this form forms the basis for the student's admission and official documentation. Therefore, students or their parents/guardians are strongly advised to fill it out carefully.

Any errors, omissions, or inaccuracies may result in delays in the admission process or possible rejection of the application.

Required Documents for Registration

To complete the registration process, students are required to submit the following documents:

  1. Clear personal photo (for student ID and official file)

  2. Copy of National ID (Tazkira) or Passport (for identity verification)

  3. Previous academic certificate or latest grade report (if available)

  4. Active and accessible contact number

  5. Accurate home address (for location-based classification and relevant services)

All documents can be uploaded as scanned copies or high-quality images.

If an academic certificate is not available, taking the placement test will be mandatory.

Previous Academic Record or Placement Test

For admission to grades above Grade 1, students are required to submit a valid academic certificate or transcript from their previous school. This document must confirm successful completion of the previous grade and readiness for the next level.

If the student is unable to provide an official certificate due to personal or situational challenges, the Afghanistan Girls Online International School will offer a placement test to determine the most suitable grade level based on the student's academic ability.

Student Commitment Form (Acceptance of Rules and Policies)

Students enrolling in the Afghanistan Girls Online International School are required to complete and sign (or digitally check) an official commitment form, affirming their acceptance of the school's rules, ethical standards, and academic policies.

This form includes agreements to:

  • Follow the class schedule

  • Participate actively in lessons

  • Show respect to teachers and peers

  • Refrain from any form of cheating

  • Use the online system responsibly

This commitment forms the foundation of a safe, supportive, and productive learning environment for all students.

Annual Commitment Payment (AFN 2,000)

All educational services at the Afghanistan Girls Online International School are offered completely free of charge. However, to finalize the admission and confirm the student’s commitment to continued education, an annual commitment fee of 2,000 Afghanis is required.

This amount:

  • Has no commercial purpose

  • Serves to instill a sense of responsibility and academic continuity

  • Is collected via an official school receipt

  • Is non-refundable in case of unjustified withdrawal

Failure to pay this commitment fee may result in suspension of the formal registration process.
